It has been over a decade since Farhan Akhtar directed a feature film. With unforgettable films like Dil Chahta Hai, Lakshya and Don the franchise Under Kitty, the director-turned-actor has finally given a reason to celebrate all his fans by announcing his next director, Jee Le Zaraa with Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt at the helm. While Farhan was going to direct the entertainment life segment, the script was written by his sister, Zoya Akhtar, who directed another friendship story, Zindagi Na Milegi Doobara in 2011.

According to our sources, Farhan Akhtar and his team have decided to put J Lozara in the back for the time being. “While everyone was excited to go on a fun road trip from September of this year, all plans changed. The combined dates for the three heroes are not identical at the moment and this has resulted in an indefinite delay in the movie. While some reports suggest the movie could release early next year, our source insists the delay is much greater.
