Niantic announced its content in July 2022 for its raids in Pokemon GO. We are in the middle Pokemon GO 2022 Festival events happening in various locations around the world this summer, so keep in mind that Niantic may add to that. For now, though, we know that the Kanto birds will be flying high on level 5 raids for most of the month before the return of the Sinoh monster, Dialga, of the steel/dragon type. Let’s get into the details.
Here are the Legendary Pokemon that will appear in Level 5 Raids in Pokemon GO In July 2022:
- July 1, 2022 at 10 am to July 7, 2022 at 10 am: articono
- July 7, 2022 at 10 am to July 14, 2022 at 10 am: Zapdos
- July 14, 2022 at 10 am to July 22, 2022 at 10 am: Moltres
- July 22, 2022 10 a.m. to July 31, 2022 10 a.m.: dialga
It is very likely that Palkia will appear on raids for one week after Dialga, as these two Sinnoh Dragons are always seen as a pair in Pokemon GO.
Raid hours for the month of July are:
- July 6, 2022 6am-7pm: articono
- July 13, 2022 6am-7pm: Zapdos
- July 20, 2022 6am-7pm: Moltres
- July 27, 2022 6am-7pm: dialga
Here’s the Mega Pokémon that will appear in Mega Raids in Pokemon GO In July 2022:
- July 1, 2022 at 10 am to July 7, 2022 at 10 am: Mega Charger X
- July 7, 2022 at 10 am to July 14, 2022 at 10 am: Mega Charger Way
- July 14, 2022 at 10 am to July 22, 2022 at 10 am: mega bedgo
- July 22, 2022 10 a.m. to July 31, 2022 10 a.m.: Mega Ginger
I’m puzzled why Niantic spent the month of May inflating Mega Raids with so many positive changes and exciting new releases just to completely stop the Mega Raid hype for summer with the same old options we’ve had forever. I really hope we start getting more massive raids soon, as we had a brief moment where the community seemed to embrace this overlooked feature.
