Taapsee Pannu appearing with SRK in Dunki: When you end up getting a chance to work with him...

Taapsee Pannu is one of the most promising and talented actors in the Hindi film industry. She has proven her power in many films, and has also won love and adulation from critics and audiences of the same audience. Soon she will be collaborating with SRK in the upcoming film Dinky, led by filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani. Taapsee, who happens to be a fan of SRK, is pretty excited about the collaboration. Recently, it has almost opened itself.

Speaking to PTI, Taapsee expressed that sharing screen space with SRK is a “golden opportunity”. “When you end up getting a chance to work with him, it becomes a golden opportunity. Combine it with the fact that he will be directed by Rajkumar Hirani, his films are classics, things are not going to get any better. I don’t even know how I would ever do it,” Shabaash Mithu actress stated.

She also added that like Shahrukh, she also belongs to Delhi, and so, the star’s journey in the world of showbiz feels personal. “I don’t miss the opportunity to tell him every time that he is someone we consider very personal. Even before I met him, his journey was very personal because of the way he started and built an empire for himself.

Taapsee previously appeared in Badla with Amitabh Bachchan and Amrita Singh, and the film is a production of Red Chillies Entertainment. Taapsee told PTI that the journey from there to emerging as SRK’s co-star is really big.

Speaking of Dinky, the social comedy will explore the issue of illegal immigration from India to countries like Canada and the USA through back roads called “donkey trips.” Apart from Shahrukh and Tapsi, the film also features Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani in pivotal roles.

The film is supported by Jio Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment and Rajkumar Hirani Films, and is scheduled to be released on December 22, 2023.
