Rebel Wilson has vowed to go to the gym after revealing that she gained weight during her stormy vacation in Europe over the past few weeks.
The Australian actress posted on Instagram on Sunday to show off her chic figure in a red swimsuit, while admitting she got off the right track.
The Pitch Perfect star told her followers that she gained 3 kilos while indulging in a luxury spa.
In her comment, Rebel said, “I just noticed I’m wearing 3kg on my vacation, before adding, ‘I’m at an amazing all-inclusive resort…I’ve lost all self-control.'” “
“But do you know what? I can wake up tomorrow and go to the gym, hydrate and eat healthy and love myself.
“It doesn’t help being hard on yourself, but I know what it’s like to feel guilt and not feeling well after eating so much.”
Rebel has changed shape quite impressively by losing 35kg over the past two years.
Her weight loss is widely attributed to the strategies devised by Austrian physician Dr. Franz Xaver Mayer.
However, she distanced herself from Mayr’s way in a statement on Instagram earlier this year, telling her 10.6 million followers: “This was never my diet.”
The Mayr method eliminates certain foods and reduces sugar and also encourages certain eating practices, such as chewing food well.
Rebel revealed on The Drew Barrymore Show in 2020 that her previous diet had high levels of carbohydrates and sugar.
The star also recently shared the super simple way she shed 35kg while walking.
She told Apple Fitness+ in January that walking — rather than doing endless high-intensity exercise — was actually her secret weight-loss weapon.
Ripple said a doctor at a spa advised her to walk, insisting it was the “best way” for her to shed the pounds.
