Ex-Alabama player’s championship rings sold on “Pawn Stars”

In the episode, a guy named John owned the rings Robinson got for the Crimson Tide that won the SEC Championship, Rose Bowl and College Football Championship. He said his uncle gave him a ring set that had Robinson’s name and shirt number on it.
He said that once the rings were sold, he would use the money to take his uncle to the national championship match. It is unclear how his uncle acquired the rings, but he ended up negotiating to sell them for $40,000.

The rings are now sold by Gold & Silver Pawn Shop for $60K each ESPN. Robinson did not play during the undefeated 2020 season in Alabama because he withdrew due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But before that as a freshman in 2019, he sprinted for 254 yards and two touchdowns.
He moved to Texas in 2021 where he rushed for 322 yards and three touchdowns in 11 games. Alabama and Texas compete on September 10th.
