Yorkshire TV presenter Terrier Poe says of Amber Heard ‘disappeared’

A TV presenter has hinted at a conspiracy theory regarding the whereabouts of one of Amber Heard’s dogs after suggesting that a Yorkshire Terrier Boo has been ‘missing’.

Lawrence Cooper spoke to Sunrise Thursday about Heard’s infamous visit to Australia in 2015 when she violated biosecurity laws by not advertising her dogs Pistol and Boo when she arrived in the country with then-husband Johnny Depp.

The 36-year-old actress is now the subject of an ongoing perjury investigation in relation to 2016 court proceedings arising from that ill-fated journey down.

In the latest bizarre development, Lawrence suggested that Heard no longer has a Boo because the pet hasn’t been photographed on Instagram since 2020.

I got custody of the Pistol and Boo [after splitting from Depp] Mrs. Lawrence said before I said the dog might be camera shy.

“The gun is ubiquitous on her Instagram account, so the Pistol is there,” she added. “Johnny Depp doesn’t have those dogs at the moment.”

Pistol was last photographed on Heard’s Instagram in May 2020. The Aquaman star shared a photo with an unnamed Yorkshire Terrier in January of this year.

She also regularly shares footage with her other dogs, including Barnaby Joyce, named after the former Australian deputy prime minister who led the charge to sue her for bringing Yorkshire Terriers into the country.

In April 2015, Depp and Heard Yorkshire Terriers, called Pistol and Boo, flew to Australia, where the actor was filming Pirates of the Caribbean 5.

Transporting their dogs violated Australian biosecurity laws as the couple failed to declare them and put them in quarantine.

Authorities only became aware of Pistol and Boo’s existence when their visit to the Gold Coast kennel salon was announced on Facebook.

At the time, a smoldering Joyce insisted that the dogs would be culled if they were not sent home to the United States

Heard is the subject of an investigation

Heard is the subject of an “ongoing” perjury investigation in Australia in relation to court proceedings arising from her visit to Queensland with Depp in 2015 when the couple violated Australian biosecurity laws by not publicizing their Yorkshire terriers, Pistol and Boo. If we start allowing movie stars – even though they were twice the sexiest man alive – to enter our nation [and break the laws]Why don’t we break the laws for everyone,” he said during an infamous press conference.

It is time for Pistol and Poe to return to the United States.

Meanwhile, Australian authorities could seek help from the FBI as it investigates allegations that Heard allegedly crawled herself before a Queensland court six years ago.

The Australian Department of Agriculture, Water and Environment said last week that it was 'investigating allegations of perjury by Ms Heard during court proceedings over the 2015 illegal import of [her] Two dogs in Australia. The spokesman confirmed that the case

A former special agent told Law & Crime that it is common for Australian investigators to contact their American counterparts, and such cooperation is likely in this case given that the witnesses involved all “live abroad”.

Last month, Heard lost a high-profile defamation trial against her ex-husband.

During the defamation trial, the exes’ dogs appeared when Heard spoke about an incident in February 2016 when Depp claimed she was defecating in their bed in their Los Angeles penthouse after an argument the night before on her 30th birthday.

Heard was indicted on two counts of illegally importing animals in July of that year, but the case was closed when she pleaded in April 2016 to falsify travel documents. She and Deb also recorded an apology video (pictured) in which she expressed her remorse for her actions

Depp’s driver, Starling Jenkins, told the court that Heard had told him that this was a “horrific practical joke that had failed.”

Heard suggested it was one of Yorkshire’s terriers, Bo, who did so, telling the court that the animal “ate Johnny’s weed as a puppy and had lifelong bowel control problems”

Heard said Boo and their other dog, Pistol, would sleep in their bed so Boo wouldn’t have to get up in the night and possibly go to the bathroom on the floor.

Heard was indicted on two counts related to the illegal import of animals into Australia in July 2015; However, the case was closed when she pleaded guilty to falsifying travel documents in Gold Coast court in April 2016.

But the saga of dog smuggling was given new life in October 2021, when DailyMail.com exclusively revealed that Australian officials were investigating Heard for perjury over allegations she lied to authorities about the circumstances in which she brought her dogs into the country.

The Australian Department of Agriculture, Water and Environment confirmed last week that the case was ‘ongoing’, telling Daily Mail Australia it was still ‘investigating’ allegations of perjury by Ms Heard during court proceedings over the 2015 illegal import of [her] Two dogs in Australia.

Perjury carries a maximum prison sentence of 14 years while the latter offense can result in a term of seven years under the Queensland Penal Code.

The Australian government is unlikely to attempt to extradite Heard, but she nonetheless could face arrest if she tries to enter the country again.

All witnesses involved in the case “live abroad”.
