A child forces a Disney character to address the JFK assassination

Turtle Talk with Crush offers guests of all ages a unique experience to ask their favorite questions Finding Nemo (2003) sea turtles any question they wish.

However, one of the young guests took the opportunity to ask Crush about a certain historical event…the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

TikToktawmbien creator, a former entertainment cast member who voiced Crush on Disney California Adventure, took to TikTok to share the story of the unforgettable young guest. A follower asked the creator if he had been asked an inappropriate question, and he replied:

In the video, the creator explains how he chose to respond to the question:

“There was a kid who came in and asked Crash if he knew JFK had been assassinated. I’m like…so I tell him, like, ‘Oh, dude.’ that’s the problem. You know, when bad things like that happen, I always tell Squirt to talk to an adult he trusts. Then we always play a game afterwards to take our minds off things. Do you like hide and seek? “

The former cast member says that the boy found Crash, so he brought the sea turtle back to the screen and made a joke to the adults in the room:

So we play hide and seek, and he finds me. So I go out and say, ‘Oh, Sea Grassy Knoll…not a good place to hide.’ He should have been hiding in the Brook’s Gossip Warehouse.”

Grassy Knoll is a small green space in Dallas, Texas that marks the place where President Kennedy was shot. The Texas School Book Depot, now known as the Dallas County Administration Building, is home to the sixth-floor bestseller from which Lee Harvey Oswald shot Kennedy. It is now home to the Sixth Floor Museum in Dealey Plaza, which chronicles the life and assassination of the 35th President of the United States of America.
