Patriots announces coaching staff titles, they won’t have OC or DC

The Patriots finally announced their coaching titles on Thursday, and in a move that is perhaps surprising but not unprecedented, New England will be without offensive and defensive coordinators this season. At least in the title.

Albert Breer from MMQB She mentioned that Joe Judge will be serving as the offensive assistant/quarterback coach, Matt Patricia will be the senior football advisor/offensive coach and Steve Belichick and Jerrod Mayo will be the linebacker coaches.

But the lack of a defensive or offensive coordinator is nothing new for this franchise. The Patriots have not had DC since 2018, when Patricia was the current offensive line coach.
