Since Bollywood star Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan received a death threat through an anonymous letter, police security has been beefed up. Reports claimed that the message was from Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang who murdered Seydu Mus Wal in Punjab in broad daylight.

The threatening letter was unsigned and had a message that read, “Themara mos la kar ding (You’ll end up like moose wala).” She was found at Bandra Bandrastand Park in Mumbai on June 5. After this incident, the latest report now claims that Salman is seeking a gun license.

Salman Khan met Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Vansalkar on Friday, July 22. He was seen leaving Mumbai Police Headquarters and entering earlier today. As per India Today report, Dabangg star has applied for gun license due to threatening letter addressed to him and his father.

Earlier reports claimed that Salman and his family received a threatening letter in 2018 as well. The death threat from Lawrence Bishnoi is linked to the 1998 Black Buck poaching case, in which the actor was one of the accused.

Currently, the gangster, who has been spending time in the Tihar Jail in Delhi, is in the custody of the Punjab Police in connection with the investigation into the murder of Seydu Moss Walala.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman was last seen in Antim: The Final Truth with Aayush Sharma, Mahima Makwana, and Jisshu Sengupta. It is a quote from the movie Marathi Mulshi Pattern. Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and produced by Salman Khan Films.

Apart from this, the actor will next appear in Tiger 3 alongside Katrina Kaif and Emran Hashmi in the lead. It is said to be directed by Maneesh Sharma and will be released on April 21, 2023. Salman also has films such as Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, Godfather, Ved and No Entry Mein Entry.
