MCU star Paul Rudd has had a phenomenal acting career, and over time, he became known as one of the most beautiful men in Hollywood. He has starred in hit movies and infamous commercials and made friends with some of the biggest names around while constantly impressing audiences.
Rudd is a busy man on screen, but he has a lot of action outside of Hollywood, too. In fact, he co-owned a candy store, and his business happened to be a star the walking Dead.

Rudd is keen to stay busy outside of his time making hit films. One way he does this is by owning a candy store.
He owns a candy store
Rudd is the co-owner of Samuel’s Sweet Shop, and has been for several years now.
His wife, Julie, talked about how she and her husband came to own the sweet shop in an interview. It turns out that everything stems from the death of the original owner of the store.
“When Ira died, like everyone else in town, we thought, What is going to happen to Samuel? We don’t want to lose Samuel. When the idea came that maybe we should try to save her and carry on, it wasn’t like that.” It was about this place, it’s a meeting place in the community and a place that brings joy to the community and kids love to come to and we really want to keep that going,” she said.
Rod himself also spoke about the store.
Rudd said of running the store, “One of the most important things any human can experience is being a part of the community and feeling connected to where you live and to others who live there, especially in a job like mine.”
It’s great to see that the star runs a candy store, but what makes this even sweeter is that he does so with walking dead star.
Co-owned with Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hillary Burton
Jeffrey Dean Morgan is the other half of the dynamic duo that owns the store, and along with Morgan comes Hillary Burton from One Tree Hill Fame.
When Talking to Stephen ColbertMorgan gave his account of how he owned the store.
“We moved to upstate New York. The first person I met in this town called Rhinebeck was Ira, and he owned this candy store. He passed away two years ago, and Paul (Rud) and I were friends for a while and we didn’t want him to turn into a juice stand or something. It’s been around since the early ’90s, so we were like, ‘Yeah, let’s get our money together and get a candy store,’ and now we’re the proud owners of Samuel’s candy shop.”
The shop has been open for more than 25 years at this point, and on their website, the famous owners made sure to give personal recommendations for some good candy to eat.
