Today’s star Hoda Kotb admitted that she lives in constant fear of being fired for co-starring Savannah Guthrie.
It has been widely reported for months that the hosts cannot stand each other and are allegedly quarreling.
Kotb admitted that she was concerned about maintaining her composure after a commercial break in which Guthrie is said to be having a fit of hysteria.
I told good housekeeping: “I live in fear of getting kicked out in an instant because it’s like ‘Hoda, squeeze it’ and they’re [the producers] Like “three, two and one”, and it’s quiet! “
Kotb said she feels Guthrie is “secretly funny, disgusting.”
She also revealed that her star is “quite clear” when she asks her questions about parenting.
The pair have co-hosted the NBC morning show since 2017.
Rumors have surfaced for months that there was tension between Qutb and Guthrie.
An insider close to the production told The Sun, “Savannah is the boss. After Matt Lauer was ousted, Savannah took power, and she really wanted Willie Geist to play Hoda, but his ratings weren’t network-wide.
“Hoda is out of the Savannah maneuver and I got it right away.”

The source claimed Guthrie “views herself as a real news personality”, while Kotb is seen as a “lightweight”.
Fans claimed they could spot the tension between Kotb and Guthrie during a cooking clip on Tuesday’s show.
Guthrie was leading the part while Qutb with the other hosts, eating what the chef was cooking.
One viewer noted: “It seems that Hoda and Savannah are no longer involved in the culinary sectors. The tension continues today.”
Another claimed: “Julie. The tension between Hoda and Savannah is very intense.”
Kotb and Guthrie appeared to have an awkward encounter on air during a cooking segment on July 15.
‘Awkward moments’
They collaborated alongside cookbook author Elizabeth Heskell.
While the flight attendants tried to help out in the kitchen, Al Roker and Craig Melvin sat at a table with three Yankees players Gerrit Cole, Jose Trevino, and Anthony Rizzo.
They were invited to try some food on camera.
But fans claimed the clip turned awkward.
While the chef was talking and Guthrie was mixing up the salad, Qutb walked over to the table and asked, “Wait—are we done?”
Guthrie replied, “Yes that’s it. Move on. We’ll move on, we don’t have time for all that.”
Viewers seem to have said they heard Qutb laughing nervously in the background as a close-up of the camera showed Guthrie continuing to mix power.
Fans have begged the pair to move on and start over amid the rumours.
Despite rumors about their alleged feud, Kotb and Guthrie seemed to share an emotional moment when they paid tribute to longtime NBC reporter Pete Williams, who is retiring.
Guthrie said to him, “We raise a glass for you, Pete.”
Williams looked emotional as he put his hand on his heart in response to the sweet tribute.
Then I asked him, “How do you feel today, Pete?”
Before he could reply, Guthrie seemed to suffocate.
She said, “I know, we’re just a little bag. We’re a mess of tears. Because there’s no life without you.”
Guthrie and Cote sat next to each other on the sofa as they were touched by their colleague’s retirement while holding glasses of champagne.
And in another touching moment, Kotb posted a cute comment on her colleague’s Instagram account.
Guthrie shared a clip from a fan meeting her favorite singer, which prompted Kotb to respond: “So Sweet Xoxox.”
