Anne Heshe is in hospital stable after a car accident

Los Angeles Anne Heche was in the hospital Saturday after her car crashed into a house and caught fire, a representative of the actor told People magazine.

The actor, who has not been identified, told the magazine that Heche is in stable condition a day after Friday’s accident. People reported that her family and friends were demanding that her privacy be respected.

Los Angeles police officer Tony M. said her speeding car reached a T-junction, veered off the road and entered the home in the Mar Vista section of Los Angeles’ West Side shortly before 11 a.m.

The Los Angeles Fire Department said the car came to rest inside the two-story house and started a fire that took about 60 firefighters more than an hour to put out. Officials did not identify Heck as the driver who was pulled out of the car because she was inside the house, but they said he was registered for her.

A TV news video showed a blue Mini Cooper Clubman, badly damaged and burned, being towed from the house, with a blonde woman sitting on a stretcher and struggling as firefighters put her into an ambulance.

No injuries were reported and no one was arrested. Police investigators are investigating.

Its representatives did not immediately respond Saturday to requests for comment.

A native of Ohio, Heche made her debut on the NBC series “Another World” from 1987 to 1991. She won a Daytime Emmy Award for the role.

In the late 1990s, she became one of the hottest actors in Hollywood, a constant on the covers of big-budget magazines and films. She co-starred with Johnny Depp in ‘Donnie Brasco’ in 1997. With Tommy Lee Jones in ‘Volcano’ in 1997; with Harrison Ford in 1998’s “Six Days, Seven Nights”; With Vince Vaughn and Joaquin Phoenix in 1998’s “Back to Heaven,” and with the cast in the 1997 original “I Know What You Did Last Summer.”

Her relationship with Ellen DeGeneres from 1997 to 2000 cemented her fame and brought massive public scrutiny.

In the fall of 2000, shortly after the two separated, Heche was hospitalized after knocking on a stranger’s door in a rural area near Fresno, California. Authorities said she appeared trembling and disoriented, and spoke incoherently with residents.

In a memoir released the following year, “Call Me Crazy,” Heche spoke about her lifelong struggles with mental health and her childhood of abuse.

She was married to photographer Colman Lavon from 2001 to 2009. The two had a son together. She gave birth to another son during a relationship with actor James Tapper, her partner in the TV series “Men In Trees”.

Heche has worked consistently in small films, on Broadway, and on television shows for the past two decades. She recently had recurring roles in the network series “Chicago PD” and “All Rise”, and in 2020 she was a contestant on “Dancing with the Stars”.
