Screenshots of Diablo 4 alpha have appeared online

Leaked screenshots and screenshots from the Diablo 4 alpha have appeared online.

The footage circulated on Twitter before it was removed (mirror over here) apparently from “Friends and Family” Diablo 4 alpha which is currently taking place.

The video shows character customization, game creation, and a difficulty selection screen.

Since alpha is a watermark, it is likely that the person who posts the content will be easily identified, and their access to the alpha is revoked.

The Characters screen shows the range of face and body combinations players will be able to select, however, it’s not clear if this is the full build set.

Tutorial options are also available, which allow the player to select “More Steering” or “Less Steering”. There doesn’t seem to be an option to turn off tutorials completely.

It was recently claimed that a beta version of Diablo 4 has been added to the Battle.net launcher in preparation for its release, which is yet to be dated.

Diablo 4 is planned for 2023 and beta sign-ups opened earlier this year.

As part of an ongoing promotional campaign Campaignselect tattoo shops are offering the Diablo tattoos for free, with fans notifying that they will get early access to an upcoming beta as well as a digital copy of the game.

Diablo 4 was originally announced in 2019 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Earlier this year, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S releases were also confirmed, with cross-play and cross-advance for all platforms.

In June, Diablo Franchise General Manager Rod Ferguson said Blizzard was “committed to offering an incredible range of post-launch content, for years to come, centered on optional cosmetics and full story-driven expansions.”
