The Yellowstone The season 4 finale featured the last-minute wedding of Beth Dutton (Kelly Riley) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser). The highly unconventional ceremony featured Beth kidnapping a priest at gunpoint and donning an elegant gold dress she had used moments earlier in her scheme to threaten a man in prison—along with a luxurious white fur coat.
Riley admits that she felt cold about wearing this much-talked-about fashion. But when she pitched an alternative idea to creator Taylor Sheridan, he shot it.
Kelly Reilly reveals what Beth Dutton really cared about during her wedding in the finale of the fourth season of Yellowstone.
Riley said Entertainment tonight distance Yellowstone Season 4 finale in which she loved Beth and Rip’s wedding because he was “model Beth”.
“She’s not interested in a wedding or a wedding dress or anything like that. All she cares about is being his wife and she knows that… I find her kind of heroic in a really wrong way,” Riley admitted.
“I mean the way it fell was pretty wild,” Hauser added. “Her storm and her golden dress, her father [Kevin Costner as John Dutton] And I look at her and go, “What the hell is she now?” Then she has a priest kidnapped. It’s so wild.”
Kelly Riley was cold about Beth’s wedding dress
It was Riley who found the stunning gold dress that Beth wore to her wedding with Rip. She says she stumbled upon it online while searching for the “most flimsy gangsta dress” she could ever wear.
But when fitting the dress, Riley says she had other thoughts about wearing it and questioned her ability to “take this off.” according to TV insideThis is the point the British actress called Yellowstone Its creator, Taylor Sheridan, offered him another idea.
“Taylor,” said Riley, “wouldn’t it be nice if she came home, and went into her father’s closet and put on her mother’s wedding dress?” He went, “nah”. And I get it: Beth doesn’t give f-what people think about her. It makes me a braver actor.”
Beth is feeling good at the start of Yellowstone Season 5
Riley revealed that entering Season 5, Beth “feels good about everything” and is “confident that things will be better taken care of.”
In addition to her longtime love marriage, Beth blackmails her adoptive brother Jamie (Wes Bentley) into working again with the Dutton family.
“[Beth and John] They use Jamie to put together things they wouldn’t be able to do. They need him to work for the family. “It’s like working for the mob,” Riley said.
But it’s Beth’s marriage to Rip that actually owns Riley’s character in “Beautiful and Hard Place.”
“Something magical to her is that this is now, finally, her husband and her person forever. Marriage for her is a wonderful thing,” Riley concluded.
Yellowstone Season 5 will premiere Sunday, November 13, on Paramount Network. Seasons 1-4 now plays on Peacock.
