What did Harrison Ford say about Star Wars?

Despite getting a little bored with the franchise over the years, how the actor got started in movies is an amazing story.

So the story goes, Ford was working as a carpenter at the time, and he was making a door for the studio.

George Lucas was trying to cast his three stars into groups to see how they interacted with each other.

But while he had five Leias and five Lukes, there were only four actors available to audition for Han Solo.

When he saw Lucas Ford, he asked him to join the group that was missing Han – a part that ended up going down.

During a Reddit AMA, Harrison Ford said, “I helped George Lucas audition for other cast for the main parts.

“With no expectation or indication that I might be looked down on by Han, I was quite surprised when I was offered the part.

My main job at that time was carpentry.

How did Han Solo die in Star Wars?

While fans were excited to see Ford reprise his role as Han Solo for The Force Awakens, many weren’t ready to know it would be for the last time.

After confronting Ben Solo’s son, AKA Kylo Ren, at the StarKiller base, Han tries to save him from the “dark side”.

Tricked into believing that he had returned his son, Kylo Ren instead killed the beloved character, and killed his father in front of his famous friend Chewbacca.

But after being asked about his character’s death, Ford once again showed his general disdain for movies.

When asked if John Boyega would be his natural successor to future films, he said, “I don’t know I ever thought of it that way. I was there to die.”

“And I didn’t really give a donkey a mouse got my sword.”
