Disney replicas are having problems, almost falling apart

There are many ways to experience and encounter the history at The Walt Disney World Resort. From dark classics like Peter Pan’s Journey and the Haunted Mansion to resort landmarks like a contemporary Disney resort or an actual Cinderella Castle, guests will be surrounded by incredible history wherever they go.

If you are a fan of Disney Parks yourself, you will definitely know the Progress City model located in the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover. As guests pass through Space Mountain, Carousell of Progress, and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, they will encounter a model of Progress City, which in many ways was the original EPCOT.

Walt Disney’s dream of a future, community-led city that would connect citizens in multiple ways. A big part of this idea was public transportation, and this is represented in many ways at the Disney parks. PeopleMover itself is a dream form of easy and convenient public transportation.

Share Disney in next message Regarding the form and its date:

The model, described in Gravity as: “Walt Disney’s dream of an experimental prototype community tomorrow,” is in fact an important part of Disney’s history. I grew up in Disneyland Park and was formerly a piece of that park carousel progress From 1967-1973. In this version of the attraction, the last holiday gathering scene offered a glimpse of the distant Progress City through the windows behind the characters of Audio-Animatronics. Next, guests head to the second floor of the carousel, where they can explore an entire 6,900-square-foot model of the city. The Progress City you see on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover Road is part of this model.

Although Walt’s dream didn’t really come true, we can still see glimpses of him throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. However, the actual model of Progress City is quite old, and as one guest mentioned, the main element is slightly damaged.

Twitter user bioreconstruct (@bioreconstruct) has shared the following images online, which show how the mini monorail looks like falling off:

The Progress City model has a hybrid monorail. Arrows on cars that look like Florida Highway Patrol.

As you can see, the mono line is jumbled, indicating that it is either misaligned or the actual path encountered an error. The guest in the comments section was already worried about this, saying that he noticed how wobbly she was. While we don’t expect Disney to fully preserve every aspect of the Disney parks, this is one area where we’d like to get some much-needed love and care.
