American Pickers star Mike Wolfe has sparked concern over an unrecognizable pic after his show suffered a shocking drop in ratings.

MIKE Wolfe sparked concern by appearing completely different in a new image amid the American Pickers’ ratings plummeting.
Discovery did not air an episode on Saturday after its ratings dropped by a staggering 200,000 viewers.
Amid the controversy, Mike looked completely different with a clean-shaven look and a casual outfit in a shot he shared on Instagram.
The 58-year-old ditched his beard and rocker style with no facial hair, a printed T-shirt and a straw hat.
The presenter stood with two friends outside the trailer, and wrote: “Chilling with @detroit_antique_motorcycles and @michaellange1877 Davenport swap 2022.”
One fan commented, “Oh my God, he looks so different I don’t know if I like him,” while another asked, “Is Mike having a crisis?”

Mike’s new photo comes after American Pickers tweeted that they won’t air on Saturday – which is likely due to Labor Day weekend.
The post announced: “There is no new episode of American Pickers on Saturday, so in the meantime, we wanted to share some of our recent picks with a very popular topic of color.”
American Pickers has been dropping season 23 episodes weekly since July 9.
Although after last week’s episode, the show’s viewership dropped by a shocking 200,000.

The US Sun reported that Saturday’s episode, August 27, drew 829,000 viewers.
The drop in ratings was most likely due to the date airing the new episode at 8pm instead of the usual 9pm slot, a risky move that didn’t pay off for the series.
The History Channel’s ratings have also fallen since the release of fan favorite Frank and the new addition of Mike Robbie’s brother.
The show’s cast also includes Danielle Colby.
Low ratings
Ratings have been inconsistent since the transmission change. The premiere on July 9 was attended by only 833,000 viewers.
Season 23 of American Pickers began on January 1, 2022, with an audience of 1,050,000 viewers.
Fans have been boycotting the show since Frank was fired because of Robbie.
One viewer wrote: “The show needs Frank, Mike and Danny. Stop changing it. I’m sure Robbie is a nice guy but he’s boring on TV.”
Another commented: “Watched the new season with the Wolf Brothers. I need to bring Frank back. Robbie doesn’t have a character he’s totally boring!!!”
Frank was hospitalized for a stroke on July 14 after a friend found him on the floor of his Iowa home.
Frank’s health crisis
The US Sun got a 911 call made by Frank’s friend from the star’s farm in Iowa on July 14 just before 11 am.
The friend said, “I just came to my friend’s house here and he was lying on his land. He can’t talk to me. He might be right. [sic] I’m not sure.”
Frank’s father, Bill Fritz, told The Sun exclusively that his son is in a “stable” condition.
Mike captioned a photo on the reality star’s Instagram: “I’ve been very private this past year about Frank’s life and the journey he’s been on. There’s been a lot of opinions regarding my friendship, Frank, and the show but now is not the time to put things right.”
“Now is the time to pray for my friend. Frank had a stroke and is in the hospital.
“Please keep it in your hearts and thoughts. Honest, I pray more than anything you can succeed at. I love you my friend.”
improving
Fans criticized Mike for “faking” a prayer request despite their years-long feud.
In an interview with Quad City TimesAn insider revealed that Frank was on the mend, and that his health was improving daily.
“He would like everyone to know that he continues to improve every day and is very determined,” the friend told the newspaper.
“It’s really getting better every day,” she added.

The friend also hinted that Frank was not happy that his ex-boyfriend released his medical crisis to the public.
“While Frank was not ready at the time to publish his condition, he is grateful for all the prayers and good wishes,” she concluded.
