It’s hard to think of more bleak circumstances for the reunion of Prince Harry and the family he and Meghan Markle seem to have declared war on.

But on Thursday afternoon, Harry, like other family members, was racing to get to Queen Elizabeth II’s bed in Balmoral to finally say goodbye to his grandmother. Unlike them, he was not at Balmoral when Queen Elizabeth’s death was announced – he was on a plane in mid-air.

Although it was reported that his team initially said Harry would accompany his wife Meghan Markle, it later emerged that he was traveling alone. Pictures of him entering the Balmoral by car, Posted by daily MailHarry appears undoubtedly grieving for his grandmother, but perhaps also understandably angry for being so conspicuously separated from the rest of the royal family at the crucial moment for her death to be announced.

In what seemed like a clear statement that the past was still there, it was noteworthy that while Prince William, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and his wife Sophie flew to Scotland together on an RAF flight from London, Harry was not on board.

Another set of erotic photos from that day showed William driving Andrew, Edward and Sophie to Balmoral.

where is harry The Sussexes are known to have been in their home, Frogmore Cottage, which is a few hundred yards from William’s home, Adelaide Cottage, and a few miles from Andrew’s Windsor home. They have been in Britain as part of a semi-royal tour for the past few days, notably not spending any time with other members of the royal family, despite such blatant geographical proximity.

It was initially reported that Meghan would travel north with Harry on Thursday. Then it was known that it would not be. No one yet knows why this change of plan occurred – whether it was the choice of Harry and Meghan, or the dictation of the palace. Whatever the reason, Harry traveled to Scotland alone. It should be noted that Kate Middleton was also not in Scotland – she stayed at home with her and William’s three children, most likely because this was their first day at a new school.

While there has been some wishful thinking among commentators that the death of their beloved grandmother might make some sense for the feuding brothers, the fact that they couldn’t even pull the matter together to take the same plane suggests that insiders who doubt a reconciliation will occur. Any time soon unfortunately correct.

I’m sure they’d all make a good funeral bid, just as they did with Philip. But that occasion failed very much in bringing the brothers together in any useful way. This wouldn’t be any different.

As one former royal staffer who used to work with the brothers told The Royalist: “I am sure they will all make a good presentation for the funeral, just as they did for Philip. But that occasion failed very much to bring the brothers together in any meaningful way. This would not be any different.” .

On Wednesday, Harry and Meghan’s biographer Omid Scobie, who is widely understood to have excellent access to pro-Sussex sources, reported that Harry and Meghan made no effort to reach William before their trip to the UK, refusing to do so until “accountability” was shown. About his involvement in the “dark times” that Harry and his wife endured before leaving the royal family.

Scobey quotes a “family friend” as saying, “People desperately need to take steps but behind the scenes there has been no movement…what [Harry] Accountability awaits… William crossed many lines. He has been at the center of a number of agonizing moments, whether it was the actions of his crew or turning his back when support was needed. It was a dark time and William wasn’t, yet, ready to unpack.”

Scooby said the same friend told him that William was “still waiting” for Harry to apologize for publishing family secrets.

Moreover, members of the royal family are anxiously awaiting the publication of Harry’s diary.

Sources have previously told The Daily Beast that William and Kate would “not take the risk” of meeting Harry and Meghan for fear of giving them more “ammunition” to use against the family. It was last said that Prince Charles was “surprised” that Harry had targeted him.

While grief often brings families together, it remains to be seen if any time Harry now spends unexpectedly with his relationships at Balmoral, and perhaps in the coming days in London, will change anything. The queen herself had hoped very much for this.
