We’re into week two with more NFL DFS plays and values! Most of our first-rate plays have paid off in a big way this past week, with Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson setting the pace for much of the shots. Justin Jefferson and Michael Bateman were worth the spend, while Galen Hurts, A.J. Dillon, Christian Kirk and Zach Ertes returned a lot of value to their paychecks.
Once again, I’ve divided my players this week into three pricing tiers. I’m going to share my favorite spending and value options to mingle for NFL DFS squads perfectly fitting for the home roster.
Now, let’s take a look at some fun pieces of Sunday work!
NFL DFS Top-Tier Plays
QB Russell WilsonDenver Broncos
Russell Wilson passed third for most yards in the first week while also earning the 11th best completion rate and the best 11th passer rating, despite losing to the Seahawks. In his second week against Houston, we’ll see him open up more. The boos shouldn’t help. What else should help? The Houston defense surrendered the second most passing yards in Week 1 to Matt Ryan. With Jeudy, Sutton and Javonte Williams as excellent receiving weapons, Ross should be able to have a lovely day.
RB I will be BarclayNew York Giants
he is back! Barkley had 194 multipurpose yards and touchdowns last week, and this week he had a Panthers defense surrender 187 yards and two TDs while allowing an 83.5% catch rate for the brown run in the first week.
WR cooper cupLos Angeles rams
Rinse and repeat. Its receiving element in SISB is set to 92.5. He’s over that in 16 of his last 18 games, and faces a defense of the Hawks that surrendered 216 yards, two TDs, and more than 10 yards per goal to Saints receivers last week.
TE Darren WallerLas Vegas Raiders
Could this be a Hunter Renfrew game? surely. Is this going to be a Davante Adams game? Absolutely. But with a total of 51.5 games in the SISB, there are plenty of points to contend against against the Arizona defense that was just ripped apart by Travis Kelsey. Waller had four catches and 79 last week against the Chargers, and I think he could have another good day on Sunday.
NFL DFS Mid-Tier Plays
QB Matthew StaffordLos Angeles rams
Stafford developed a real stink last week. The good news is that it makes him more accessible this week when he faces the Atlanta Falcons, who allowed Jameis Winston’s 21.7-point DFS last week. The value you get here can help offset the price of Cooper Kupp, who is always Stafford’s first read and should dominate again on Sunday.
QB Joe BoroughCincinnati Bengals
Assuming sacks and shovels don’t cancel out all of his DFS points (and they weren’t last week), Burrow should be a good value for a Dallas team that is already in a mess. His reasonable salary allows you to spend up to Ja’Marr Chase.
RB Jafonte WilliamsDenver Broncos
Williams didn’t have the bulk of the gigs last week (seven compared to Melvin Gordon’s 12), and stumbled in the finish zone. This is the bad news. The good news is that it is now very affordable. Williams drove all Broncos receivers with 12 targets which turned him to 11 catches and 65 yards. That’s a whopping 29% target share for Denver, and those catches and yards add up. Did I mention that the Texans surrendered the fourth most yards to the RBs in Week 1? Connect it.
RB Tony PollardCowboys in Dallas
Well Well. Yes, this Dallas offense would probably be a mess without Duck. And yes, the Bengal should try to stop the run. But this DFS. You have to be a little ambivalent if you’re in a big competition. Pollard can be used in the slot or as a runner while your costume distracts defenses. You never know.
WR Cortland SuttonDenver Broncos
If you believe Bruce, let’s talk about Sutton. Sutton saw 40% of the team’s air yards in Monday Night Football He grabbed four of his seven goals for 72 yards. Texas allowed two yards for wide receivers this past weekend (240).
TE Dalton SchultzCowboys in Dallas
An inexperienced QB tends to rely on his own TE, and this particular tight end was fifth between the tight ends at the target stake (22.0%) and first in the snap and track post for Week 1. He’s picked up seven of his nine goals for 62 yards, and if Cincinnati is scattered On CeeDee, I see Cooper Rush looking for Schultz or getting rid of Pollard (see above).
NFL DFS Value Plays
QB Matt RyanIndianapolis Colts
Ryan finished second at over yards (352) in Week 1, and this week had a Jaguar defense that surrendered 313 yards and four touchdowns to Carson Wentz.
RB Jeff Wilson Jr.San Francisco 49ers
Elijah Mitchell is in IR, and Wilson is the next man on the Niners’ Run. The Seahawks should be surmountable, and I bet Wilson wouldn’t falter in the finish zone.
WR Curtis SamuelWashington leaders
Samuel led all of the Leaders’ recipients with eleven goals on Sunday. Samuel played 71% of the shots, rushing for 17 yards, as well as eight catches for 55 yards and a point. The versatile playmaker could help the backcourt in the absence of Brian Robinson while also continuing to dominate in the hole.
TE Hayden HurstCincinnati Bengals
Hayden Hurst saw eight goals for five catches and 48 yards during a 52-lane run on Sunday. He’s a big threat in the red that could match up well with a struggling Dallas side. Remember, CJ Uzomah has been out for the big games a few times in 2021, and especially if Tee Higgins comes out, Hurst might find paid dirt.
