AP Top 25: Georgia, Alabama Maintained Top Spots After Week Three Bombing

The third week of college football didn’t see as many turmoil as the first two weeks, resulting in not many changes in this week AP Top 25 Poll.

Georgia retains its top spot for the second week in a row with a 48-7 victory over South Carolina. Alabama retained the number two spot after winning the game 63-7 against UL Monroe on Saturday.

There was only one change in the top ten from the previous week: Kentucky moved to eighth while Oklahoma dropped to ninth.

Previous teams ranked 11th, 12th and 13th were upset on Saturday. Michigan dropped No. 11 on the list after losing 39-28 to Washington, who was added to the poll at number 18.

Number 12 BYU now sits in 19th after the 15th now won Oregon 41-20. Oregon led 12 points after the win. No. 13 Miami dropped 12 places after No. 23-ranked Texas A&M won 17-9.

Here are the top 25 new ones ahead of week four, according to an AP poll.
