Prospects for the 2023 NFL Draft soar after Week 3 of college football

It is never too early to look to the future. With this in mind, we are at Sports Illustrated Set our eyes on who will be next and who you should consider for the 2023 NFL Draft, with five players each week who have excelled in college football.

Illinois running back Chase Brown leads the nation in the rush and yards per coach.

Brown carried the ball 36 times for 199 yards against Indiana.

Chase Brown, RB, Illinois

You probably already know Brown. He is the college football major in yards (496) and yards per game (165.3). He’s a smart 5’11” and 205 pounds. We might not necessarily be in the working ponytail era anymore, but Brown did rock 36 times against Indiana. Once he sticks his foot in the ground, he’s gone.

Mohamed Ibrahim, right back, Minnesota

Ibrahim, essentially, missed the entirety of last season due to a torn achilles. He’s a solid comeback, and it’s safe to say he’s back to what he once was as a ball carrier in the Golden Gophers.
