Limit On Thursday, it reported that a DWTS spokesperson told the outlet that four people from the crew had tested positive for the virus.

They all work in “completely different departments that have no personal contact with each other, based on our pod system,” according to the source.

“Contacts were traced immediately.”

And the source continued: “All contacts were notified and were subjected to an increased pace of testing. Since then, no close contact between the four positive production staff has tested positive.”

The competition is allowed to continue next week, according to the Department of Public Health.

As of now, no contestant, host, or judge has contracted COVID-19.

Although the crew contracted the coronavirus this season, judge Derek Hough self-isolated last season.

The professional dancer shared the news on his social media that it came positive, and he was supposed to judge the show the next day.

“Even though I was fully vaccinated, I was diagnosed with an unprecedented COVID-19 disease,” he said in a video via Instagram.

“I just found out and I feel good. I feel strong. I am currently taking advice from medical professionals to get better as quickly as I can. I am currently in quarantine.”

He promised fans, “I’ll make sure you all know what’s going on, but I just want to send my love to everyone. Stay safe.”

At the time, Derek was performing in his Las Vegas residence and had to reschedule those shows as well.

However, the dancer made it to the end, after receiving a negative test days later.

Aside from the COVID-19 diagnoses, the show took off without a hitch, for the most part.

However, host Tyra Banks is still plagued by blunders after three years in the position.

The 48-year-old made a huge mistake on air when she read the leaderboard after performing the top eight pairs.

“Daniel is at the front now [Durant] and brit [Stewart]She said, while the on-screen leaderboards instead showed Wayne Brady and Whitney Carson in first place.

But she quickly relented: “Oh, that’s wrong. Wrong information, okay.”

Tyra grabbed her finger on her earpiece and said, “Okay, you’re saying upstairs is Wayne.

“Wayne is on top with… Whitney, right?” She added hesitantly.

Later in the presentation, it’s time to review the results again.

“After a dozen dances, here’s a look at the leaderboard tonight, and the team got it right this time,” she exclaimed in a hushed voice to the show’s producers.

“I’m so sorry, Wayne, it didn’t get right the first time.”

But many viewers were unhappy to see the host pass the blame for her mistake to a behind-the-scenes team.

One wrote on Twitter: “Tyra calls the producers ‘tinkering’ in the leaderboard? Ma’am, blaming them doesn’t make you look like you know what you’re doing.”

Another agreed, “Tyra really messed it up and trying to blame people in her ear — classic.”

A third added, “I’ve gotten over Tyra. She’s already gotten a lot wrong.”

The host made another mistake earlier on the show.

For a little relief, join Tyra this season, the actor and DWTS alum, Alfonso Ribeiro.
