LSU Wide receiver Kayshon Boutte will miss Saturday’s game against New Mexico to attend the birth of his first child.
Coach Brian Kelly explained why Butt was absent this weekend, so there was no concern about the health or condition of the wide receiver.
“[Boutte] Excuse me being with his girlfriend who is expecting her first child,” Kelly said, Across LawyerLea Fan. “He is with her and we are expecting some great news here in a few hours. We wish him and his new mom all the best.”
It is unknown how long the wide receiver plans to come out, but for now it looks like he will miss the New Mexico game. according to ESPNthey have a baby boy.

Last season, Butt had 38 receptions for 509 yards and nine touchdowns in just six games. He sustained an ankle injury, which made him play the last six matches.
