Khloe Kardashian “Bamboozled” By Tristan And She Pushes It On The Second Baby

Khloe Kardashian said she felt “cheated” after Tristan Thompson pushed her to have a second child with him via a surrogate in a set time frame before his paternity scandal broke out in December 2021.

At the season two premiere of Hulu’s The Kardashians, Kardashian opened up about the circumstances surrounding her pregnancy and Thompson’s second child, a child born at the end of July via a surrogate, according to the episode. Kardashian said in the episode that the baby was born in November 2021, just days before the news of the Thompson paternity scandal broke.

“I was definitely very angry, and I think I felt cheated,” Kardashian said in a confession during the episode. “All I know is that I was encouraged to do it by a certain date. In hindsight, he always knew when the other baby was born, especially getting the papers we saw, he found out on July 2, so he knew.”

Kardashian said at the beginning of the episode that she and Thompson had an embryo transfer “two days before” news broke that fitness trainer Maralie Nichols had sued Thompson for child support.

As shown on the season premiere, the timing was close enough that she didn’t tell her sister, Kim Kardashian, that she had the embryo transfer. A clip from that conversation showed Kim looking shocked when she learned that her sister and Tristan had just had an embryo transfer.

Thompson initially denied that he was the father of Nichols’ child, but in December 2021 admitted to cheating on Kardashian and having a sexual relationship with Nichols. However, he announced in January that a paternity test had revealed he was the father of Nichols’ child and publicly apologized to Kardashian.

He wrote on his Instagram story at the time: “Chloe, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I’ve caused you. You don’t deserve the way I’ve treated you over the years.”
