Roger Federer, fittingly, ended his playing career with Rafael Nadal

Roger Federer ended his professional career today after playing a double match in the Laver Cup alongside longtime rival Rafael Nadal. The duo lost 6-4, 6-7, 9-11 against the American team consisting of Jack Sock and Francis Tiafoe. SI’s John Werthem and Chris Almeida talk about Federer’s retirement, last game and legacy.

John Werthem: We all thought this would end in England, but not in an enclosed arena, but perhaps in a prestigious event on grass he won more than anyone else.

Chris Almeida: Perhaps also with a singles match.
