When Sex and the City It ended in 2004 after six seasons, fans were mostly happy with the result. Over the course of six seasons of the show, there were diverse and interesting stories and a lot of character development. Nearly 20 years later, fans have a chance to reconnect with Carrie Bradshaw, Charlotte York and Miranda Hobbs. However, we can’t help but note that the original series missed some story opportunities. We’ve rounded up three of the biggest.
Finding a job at Charlotte York can be an exciting story
When Sex and the City Started, all four ladies were employed. Miranda Hobbs, Samantha Jones, and Carrie Bradshaw kept their buggies for the duration of the series. Charlotte York has chosen to leave her job as art coordinator to focus on a potential pregnancy and home decorating project.
Even after her divorce, Charlotte was never able to get paid again, and frankly, this story felt incomplete. Charlotte mentioned her inability to find a job exactly once. A story showcasing her fight back in the art world, or trying to open her own business, could have helped give the character more depth. We believe Sex and the City The book missed an opportunity to provide Charlotte with a realistic and exciting story that wasn’t all about romance.
There could have been a more real fight between Carrie Bradshaw and Jack Berger
Despite an early promise, Jack Berger, Carrie Bradshaw’s boyfriend in season six, was a violent idler. Berger brought some much-needed drama and tension into the first half of the show’s final season, but Sex and the City The writers missed a golden opportunity to trick the ex-Carrie back into biting her.
Early in their relationship, Berger revealed that his ex-girlfriend cheated on him. Berger was still really upset about the infidelity. a reddit The user indicates it Sex and the City The book missed a golden opportunity for Carrey’s history of cheating on Aidan Shaw to cause problems in her relationship with Berger. The couple didn’t really need the extra drama, but it sure would have been a real problem to add to their other problems.
Finding Love for Trey MacDougal Should Have Been a ‘Sex and the City’ Story
Trey McDougall never got the recognition he deserved. Sure, Trey was a bit dry and never the go-to guy for Charlotte York, but he wasn’t a bad guy. Charlotte moved in with Harry Goldenblatt, but Sex and the City The fans never saw Trey progress.
Seeing Charlotte wrestle with Trey to find a woman who would better fit his life would be intriguing. We can see Charlotte break up about Trey’s new love, even though she was happy with Harry. It feels like a missed opportunity to show why the couple didn’t go to work and to show Charlotte a bit confused. However, the story is not entirely out of the question. Perhaps Trey MacDougal could appear in And like that…
