Risk! Fans accuse show of ‘weakening the game’ after host Ken Jennings gives players the ‘most obvious’ evidence

Risk! Fans accused the show of being, of all things, too easy after Tuesday’s episode included what was called the most visible evidence in recent memory.

David Sibley won his second match after the host Ken Jennings Ask a shockingly simple question.

Risk! It returns and comes alive – the new season premiered earlier in September and hosts alum Ken Jennings, 48, through January.

With season 38 wrapping up and ahead of season 39 now airing, he and actress Mayim Bialik have been officially announced as permanent replacements for the late great Alex Trebek.

Tonight, the two-day champion David won $22,000 and a total of $44,200.

But it wasn’t his shocking back-to-back $0 bet in Final Jeopardy! Which annoyed some fans.

Tonight, Episcopal Priest from Washington faced Nick Keuki Kellstein – a New Jersey lawyer and martial arts coach – and Charlotte Cook, an office manager also from the Garden State.

It stated in the $400 guide during the Double Jeopardy Tour: “About 1800 William Nicholson and Anthony Carlisle used a voltaic stack to decompose water into these two components.”

Despite some nonsense, a millisecond passed before the reigning hero knocked at the knowledge of the Water Elementals.

David quickly replied, “What are hydrogen and oxygen?”

‘truly?’

“Hydrogen and oxygen…so easy,” one YouTuber commented below a clip from tonight’s action.

Another replied, “I really think they’re intentionally lightening the game. I noticed I’m getting many more correct answers than I did.”

David ran the “Non-Nye Science Guys” category in order—something EP Mike Davies might soon give him a cash bonus for—and earned $4,000 on the Double at the bottom.

With 28 correct answers and 4 incorrect answers, the science major that then changed its career path is fiercely competitive thus far.

But other commentators felt the Final Jeopardy question was a bit watered down, so to speak.

It stated: “The two busiest passenger airports in Africa are in these two countries; the flight between them takes 8 hours.”

The reigning hero and newcomer Nick quickly seemed to know it was Egypt and South Africa.

One Reddit user noted, “Final Jeopardy! I felt so easy to think too much today.”

And another: “Yes, I know nothing about it and it was my first guess!

‘What is happening?’

Last week, a tour called “Current Slang” seemed to cater to Generation Z at all costs.

One guide read: “This 7-letter adjective means both dry and very eager to agree” – and the correct answer was, “What is it: thirsty?”

For $800 came Ken’s second clue: “The name of this Italian fashion house means elegance or all is well” – the answer was “Gucci”.

Another read: “It seems to mean ‘stolen’ but this 8-character compliment means your style is fierce.”

Kelly roared from the middle platform with a slight hesitation: “What is… a snatch?”

“I was told it was a ‘kidnap,’ yes,” host Ken replied. And Kelly just laughed out loud.

The last $2,000 word reads: “‘Y’ for this 4 letter word which can mean ‘to throw’ or serve as an entry for joy.”

Once again, Kelly broke out and guessed correctly, “What is it: Yeet?”

As Ken said, “To, ‘Yet, $2,000 more for you’.”

One stunned fan wrote online: “I can safely say I never thought I’d hear ‘Yeet’ on Jeopardy.”

Meet the hosts

Kane and Mayim regularly began filling in the Alex legend in 2021 after his tragic passing 2020 at the age of 80 and a whirlwind of season 37 celebrity guests.

Among them were Savannah Guthrie, fan favorite Levar Burton, Dr. Oz, Aaron Rodgers, Anderson Cooper, and others who each scored a week or so.

The search also reached out to former executive producer Mike Richards, who taped the host party insider before “reversing” the shocking decision a week later when his misogynistic comments were revealed.

Now, the two have been selected and the smoke has been removed from the hot host’s search.

Mayim has started hosting Celebrity Jeopardy! It airs on Sundays with the premiere on September 25, and it hosts the regular show in the new year.
