Robert Cormier dies at 33: Cause of death of Heartland actor unknown as family mourns beloved star in obituary

His family announced the death of actor Robert Cormier at the age of 33.

Cormier is best known for playing Finn Cotter in the feature-length series, which began airing in 2007.

Cormier died on September 23, according to his obituary.

The cause of death was not included.

The obituary states, “Robert was an athlete, actor, and great brother.”

“He had a passion for helping others and was always looking to achieve more.

“He enjoyed movie nights with his family, and looked up very much to his father.

“He has affected so many people throughout his life whether they are family, teammates or friends.

“Rob’s memory will live on through his passion for art and cinema; as well as through his three sisters who made the world for him.”

Cormier is survived by his parents, three sisters, his grandmother, and other relatives.

Tributes began pouring in on the late actor.

“We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Robert Cormier,” Heartland wrote on Twitter.

“He has been a beloved member of Heartland for the last two seasons. On behalf of the cast and crew of Heartland, our thoughts are with him and his family during this difficult time.”

UPtv, which broadcasts Heartland, also tweeted their condolences.

“Robert Cormier, aka the Heartland Finn, was an incredible talent, and he went so early. We are deeply saddened to learn of his passing. Our deepest condolences to his friends, family and co-workers.”

Model Ian Carpenter tweeted, “We have learned of the death of Robert Cormier who brought this life to Kit on Slasher Solstice with a heavy heart. He was a uniquely talented, kind and generous friend that we all loved working with. Our thoughts are with him and his family at this difficult time” .
