How was the marriage of a country singer?
During their high-profile relationship, both Lambert and Shelton were entertainers with separate careers. However, the two tried to make time for each other while touring.
“We run around, run back, start wildfires, and shoot targets with our hunting bows. Sometimes I make him go with me to Walmart at Ada,” Lambert told Texas Monthly. Or sometimes we go into town and hit the dairy queen.”
Shelton also revealed that every night, he and Lambert would “sing together” at home.
“When we sing together, I try to get her out of her place and make her sound tacky, and she does everything she can to make me sound bad, and it goes on all night, like two dogs fighting for greatness,” Shelton told Texas Monthly.
