Mike Tindall, a former English rugby team member who is married to the Queen’s granddaughter, Zara Phillips, is said to be set to appear on a prime-time British reality TV show.

British newspaper The Sun Says Ann Tindall, 43, will next month join the cast of the long-running British TV show I’m a celebrity… get me out of herewhich sees contestants trapped in the Australian jungle and encouraged to take on daunting tasks, usually involving insects, to win food and other perks.

Among Tindall’s co-stars for the upcoming season is former pop star Boy George.

source said The Sun: “It’s a massive coup. Mike has taken the box office for some of the most important moments in royal history for generations. He’s sure to be conservative, but his sheer presence means this series will be a must-watch.”

Tindall married Zara in 2011 and they have three children; Mia, 8, Lina, 4, and Lucas, 1.

Zara, the daughter of Princess Anne, does not hold a royal title, nor do her children. Zara and her brother Peter Phillips have turned this to their advantage. They have never worked in the royal family and have therefore been able to pursue business opportunities with relatively little cash, unlike Meghan and Harry or Sarah Ferguson.

Zara is an Olympic show jumper and has enjoyed a string of lucrative sponsorship deals. Mike has a hit podcast, “The Good, The Bad & The Rugby,” in which he occasionally discusses royal matters.

Tindall memorably used the show to reveal that his newborn baby arrived “very quickly” and was born “on the bathroom floor.”

“The best thing about being at home is, once it’s wrapped, skin to skin, [we went] Right in the basement, the TV room, the golf game, and I’m like, “That’s what you and I do,” he said.

Speaking of his wife’s grandmother recently, he said, “I love Zara the Queen more than anything. Their relationship with horses, as with the Royal Princess, they had a real bond about that.”

A spokesperson for the show said The Sun: “We will announce our nearest dispatch line.”
