Prices continue to rise in Finland, according to new inflation data released on Monday.

Inflation reached 8.3 percent in Finland last month, reports Helsingin Sanomat (Seret Twisin with phyllon)Citing new figures from Statistics Finland.

The October inflation level is slightly higher than in September, when it was 8.1 percent.

The agency said increases in electricity and gasoline prices and average interest rates led to higher inflation in October compared to a year earlier.
