While there are some places where you can find Thunder Stone in the wild for free, we’ll cover the locations for purchasing the item first. If you’re making your way to Cascarrafa, Levincia, or Mesagoza, you can find Thunder Stones on sale for $3,000 in Pokémon. You can earn more money by winning Pokemon battles, catching wild Pokemon, or selling items you no longer want in these stores.

Where to find Thunder Stones in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

If you don’t want to pay for a Thunder Stone, there are some places you can find it in the wild. While the following are just the sites we know of as of this writing, there are likely to be more.

On the east side of Levincia, near the sea, you can find the Thunder Stone between two trees.

On the western side of Lake Casseroy in the North Island, the Thunder Stone is located near the island’s highest point with a rock.

In the Western District (First District), there is a thunderstone on Turbin Peak on the north side of the river.

After you get a Thunder Stone, the process of evolving eligible Pokémon is as simple as picking the item in your bag and giving it to them. Development will begin immediately.
