England fans back home shower each other in beer celebrating goals

Thousands of England fans back home showered themselves in beer as they chucked pints into the air celebrating Jude Bellingham’s first goal at the World Cup.
As the 19-year-old nodded England ahead against Iran packed out fan parks across the UK jumped for joy.
At Boxpark in Croydon, south London, video footage captured the jubilant moment.

Footage showed fans throwing pints into the air as chants of ‘Hey Jude’ rang out just moments later at the fan zone.
Just a few minutes later Bakayo Saka added a second, before Raheem Sterling put England 3-0 up.
Millions of fans have packed out pubs and fan parks across the country after booking the day off work or calling in sick – as the nation is grinding to a halt to watch Gareth Southgate’s men in action.
Painter and decorator John Goldman admitted to pulling a ‘sickie’ to watch the match. He traveled from his home in Thurrock, Essex, to an all ticket FIFA-backed event in central London.
Accompanied by his wife Lianne – and both wearing England shirts – they couldn’t wait for the afternoon kick off.
John said: ‘I was supposed to be working but decided to come here. I’m self-employed, so there’s no one to tell me off.
‘Even if I had a job, I would have cancelled. I just wanted to watch the football.’
