The challenge to break Pokemon Scarlet and Violet knows no bounds. The most recent major games in the Pokémon franchise are a mixture of bugs and a lack of polish, with loads of bugs like this one allowing you to move faster after connecting two controllers. Now, there is a bug that allows you to scale walls. An exciting opportunity to hit unintended sites here. It may take a little practice, but you can climb walls with your Pokemon by turning around and jumping backwards.
As explained by Twitter user @ZuilleTheWitchZuilleTheWitch, the player uses his flight Pokémon to climb a large cliff that you wouldn’t normally be able to climb. As they struggle to scale the rock formation by jumping on it, everything changes when they turn around and jump back down the cliff. This probably won’t work on all surfaces, since since the wall they climbed looked a bit flatter than usual (they were able to make some ground jumps forward), there’s still an exciting off-limits possibility with this new trick.

What isn’t mentioned in this post is whether this trick will work for owners of Pokémon Violet, who have a different flight of Pokémon. I’d bet it would probably work, but since the two Pokemon are different, you never know. Regardless, people are starting to break Pokémon Scarlet and Violet already broken, and hopefully running as fast as Sonic and becoming a world-class rock climber is just the beginning.
The sheer amount of bugs in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, whether they are beneficial to players or not, have caused a stir in the community. An added bonus of performance issues, and you’ve got yourself a pair of games Fans have noted that they are the most well received in the franchise. There’s still plenty of fun to be had in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, but Game Freak might want to bring up the repair tools.
