Hisuian Pokémon are alternate forms of existing Pokémon that lived in Hisui, the Sinnoh region from the past. Hisuian Pokémon was at the forefront with Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the latest major Pokémon series title ahead of the release of Scarlet and Violet. Although Scarlet and Violet do not take place in Hisui, several early screenshots of the titles show Hesoyan Pokémon such as Hisoian Zorwark and Cliffor to be in the games. from our games to games, There are no wild Hesoyan Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet. It wouldn’t make sense for Hesoyan Pokemon to exist in Scarlet and Violet since Legends: Arceus is set in a distant past and a completely different area. Scarlet and violet occur in the Paldea region and are not directly related to Hisui or Sinnoh.

While Hisuian Pokémon cannot be found in the wilds of the Paldea region, this does not mean that you cannot get Hisuian Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet. You’ll need to transfer Hisuian Pokémon from your Pokémon Home subscription, but there’s a catch.

To do this, you need to open the Pokémon Home app on your Switch. Choose Legends: Arceus from the Pokémon list, and bring any Hisuian Pokémon from your pastures in Arceus to the empty chests in Home. Go back to the Pokémon menu and choose Scarlet or Violet. Transfer any Hesoyan Pokémon that you have stored in chests at home to your chests for Scarlet and Violet, and Hesoyan must be a Pokémon in your version of Scarlet or Violet.

Occasionally, The Pokémon Company will have regional variants of Pokémon that become available via DLC or updates. Pokémon Sword and Shield eventually gained most of the Alolan Pokémon through the Isle of Armor DLC expansion, and players can also obtain an Alolan Vulpix in Legends: Arceus. Any future additional content for Scarlet and Violet may contain Hisui and other regional variants.
