After Stree did well at the box office, the film’s director, Amar Kaushik, said it was just the beginning of a series of horror-comedy films. Now, Bhediya, the second movie in this universe, is set to release on November 25. Amar talked about his ideas to the world and how he plans to make Stree 2 in a recent interview. Amar told Pinkvilla about his plans for Stree 2 in an honest interview and said, “Ever since Stree came out, people have been asking me to make a follow-up. We thought about making a second Stree movie while we were making this one, but first we decided to finish this one. We didn’t want to make a movie just because.” That someone told us that or because they thought it would make a lot of money in the theatre. Then the movie would be a complete bust. Everyone would still say the first was better, even if they didn’t like it.”
He then said, “I decided that I shouldn’t even touch the project until I had the right script, the right story, and something that was a step above what I’d done before. After thinking for a long time, we got an idea, so now we’re thinking of doing a sequel.” Ammar talked about his upcoming movie “Behdia” and talked about the visual effects behind the main character, the wolf. He said, “If we’re going to make a gift, our wolf has to look just right. I wanted the audience to feel like they can relate to the wolf. So my challenge for the VFX team was that the more the wolf looked like a real wolf, the more natural it would feel.” He said the team did a great job, and he’s happy with what they’ve done. Bhdiya will be out on November 25, and Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon will be in it. The film will also have a cameo appearance by Shraddha Kapoor in her avatar, Stree.
