How to gain rep with the Cobalt Assembly in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight!

World of Warcraft: Dragonflight offers players four major new reputations to grind. One such reputation, the Valdrakken Convention, actually has three sub-reputations that operate in a slightly different capacity than the four main factions. While the main reputation requires the player to gain celebrity ranks through dailies, rarities, and activities, this sub reputation is often grindable and has a different ranking system. Once upon a time this faction, The Cobalt Assembly, had a very simple way of gaining reputation, but with a twist that makes it more fun.

Cultivate the Cobalt Assembly’s reputation in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight

In order to gain reputation with Cobalt Assembly, players can unlock it by heading to the Cobalt Assembly website in Azure Span. Here they will find a mission called Welcome to the Society. It’s a very easy introductory mission that unlocks the faction.

Once this is achieved, players have one simple way to improve their standing with Cobalt Assembly – kill mobs at the Cobalt Assembly location. All of these mobs are level 70 and most of them are elite, so it is recommended to join a group. They don’t give out an outright reputation for killing them. Instead, they have a chance to drop Arcana items that will grant reputation when looted. Moderate Uncommon Arcana will reward 15 reputation while Rare Major Arcana will grant 200 reputation.

The twist to this grind is that these mobs also drop orbs that offer power-up options to players who tap on them. Players can choose a power-up from any ball they find, stacking a massive amount of buffs on themselves to make their character increasingly overpowered. This makes raising mobs much easier, and buffs will disappear if they expire or the player leaves the area.
