Where to find Surskit in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet!

Surskit isn’t a particularly battle-ready Pokémon in many situations, but it’s often an early-game creature that you can find and cross out from your Pokédex. This bug and water creature can be so easy to knock down in Scarlet and Violet that it makes you come back and look for it. Before doing so, you should know which areas you should focus on exploring. Here you can find and catch Surskit in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

How to catch Surskit in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

To find Surskit in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you’ll need to look around the small ponds in the southern part of Paldea. There are several such bodies of water dotted around the area, so keep running between them until you finally see Surskit sliding across the surface. There are three unreachable Sarskites that appear in the pond in Los Platos, so don’t worry about those. When it rains, there is a possibility that you will find them on puddles.

When you do battle with Surskit, keep in mind that she is weak against Electric, Flying, and Rock attacks. With how small this Pokemon usually is, any of these types of attacks you use to hit it can make it faint very quickly. Instead, we recommend using Pokéballs that are designed to have a better chance of catching them. Nest, Net, Great and Quick balls should all have a really good chance of catching Surskit from the start of the fight.

After you catch a Surskit, you can evolve it into Masquerain at level 22. As mentioned earlier, it’s naturally not a great battle Pokémon, so you might want to have it at the bottom of your party while other Pokémon win battles for that to happen.
