While there are certainly some terrifying creatures to be found in the sea, Finneon from the Pokémon series is one of the cutest additions you’ll find in the water. This colorful fish has a good evolution and is a good choice for the Water Pokemon in your party. If you’re looking to fill out a Pokédex entry, here’s where you can find Finneon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

How to catch Finneon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Finneon is a fish Pokémon that can only be found in Western Paldea Sea in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. There is a really good spot to jump into the water here at Port Marinada and swim south while you look for it. Be sure to look for it during the day, as it will often stay underwater at night and during rainy times but will surface when the light goes out, making it easy to find.
When you fight Finneon, you must keep in mind that she is a lonely water species. It is weak against electric and herbal attacks. It is resistant to fire, ice, steel and water attacks. Try using other types of attacks to lower her health without making her faint, which will give you a better chance of trying to catch him. If you have a Net Ball, especially, these work well against fish Pokémon.
After you catch Finneon, you can make it evolve into Lumineon by raising it to level 31. Overall, Lumineon has good general stats for combat but it’s not the best Water option in the game. She has absolutely amazing speed and special defense stats, with lower health and attack stats. You might just want to encounter Fire and Rock Pokémon.
