Zekrom and Reshiram signature moves have been spotted by Pokémon Go dataminers!

With Pokémon Go’s final events of 2022 awaiting, fans are eager to know what awaits them in 2023 and the next two months in the Mythical Wishes season. Long before any official announcements were made, data experts discovered the names and stats for two signature moves used by Zekrom and Reshiram. These signature moves line up to be exceptional upgrades for these two legendary types of Dragon Pokemon, but they may hint at stronger forms that we haven’t seen yet.

These two moves, Fusion Flare and Fusion Bolt, were discovered by a dedicated data group, Pokeminers, earlier this evening. They announced that both moves were added in the background, and the raw stats were arranged. Stats can change between now and the official release, but we expect them to remain the same until they are pushed into the live game by Niantic. Fusion will be used by Zekrom, and Reshiram will use Fusion Flare.

As it is, Fusion Bolt and Fusion Flare require 45 energy and do 90 strength in PvP, while they require 100 energy and do 140 strength in PvE battles. These upcoming moves will make both Pokémon stronger in PvP, making them catches in the future.

We’ll likely see Zekrom and Reshiram return to Five Star Raids in 2023 with their signature moves as rewards for defeating and capturing them. However, you can wait until the event is over and use the Elite Charged TM on the device you’ve already discovered to teach them their signature move.

However, some Pokémon Go fans are curious if this is Niantic’s way of introducing the more powerful forms of the other legendary dragon from the Unova region, Kyurem. Kyurem has two forms: White Kyurem and Black Kyurem, who can use Fusion Flare and Fusion Bolt, respectively.

We haven’t gotten hints about seeing Kyurem models in any upcoming content. However, Kyurem was initially released just over a month after Reshiram and Zekrom appeared in Pokémon Go back in 2020, so we may get an update about Black and White Kyurem later in 2023.
