Disney Dreamlight Valley’s next update will feature plenty of new house skins!

Since its launch in September, Disney Dreamlight Valley has seen some very significant changes. It didn’t take long for fans of the game to tear it down, collect all the items, beat all the character quests, and decorate their very own valley to their heart’s content. Of course, there were always some things missing from the game’s customization features and it looks like the developers at Gameloft are finally going to add one of them to the game; home skins.

As announced in a post on Disney Dreamlight Valley’s official Twitter page, the developers will be adding home skins to the game so you can finally change the look of your home. This is sure to be great news for anyone who’s tired of looking at the bright yellow paint that comes standard with every new Disney Dreamlight Valley remake. The short video accompanying the tweet showed a few of the house colors that will be added such as pink, blue, purple, green and orange. This is a decent number of colors to choose from. They haven’t said whether or not you’ll be able to change the color of the door or if it comes standard with whatever paint job you choose.

Since the tweet mentioned the beginning of the year, odds are that this little update will come sometime in January right after the New Year. Given the developer’s track record with updates, it won’t take long for this update to appear in the game. This update comes as part of the Community Challenge rewards. Other updates from this list that you can expect to see in the future are more character skins, additional animal companions, and even the addition of multiplayer valley visits.
