Blizzard survey hints at a possible reforging of Warcraft 3: Reforged!

Blizzard may be planning to relaunch one of its biggest titles based on a recent survey sent out to subscribers. Warcraft 3: Reforged, a reimagining of the classic strategy title that lifted the franchise to unimaginable heights, will apparently be the target of this potential update.

according to Mail Created at Warcraft Tavern, writer Mila Grish wrote about the possibility of the upcoming regeneration due to survey questions they answered recently. Instead of the usual user experience questions, most of the inquiries centered around Warcraft 3: Reforged.

Additionally, Grish also attached screenshots of the survey in question, which revealed that most of it actually contained queries that were primarily concerned with the redesigned strategy title. Most of the questions were apparently included to gather more information about how many players were aware of the input and players’ opinions on important in-game features.

However, the most important part of the survey was the question that mentioned the phrase “soft reboot,” indicating that it appears to be already in the works. Gresh went on to point out that although Reforged was released three years ago, many of the elements that made it famous are still missing to this day. Custom maps, custom campaigns, clans, ranked ladder, and automated tournaments are just some of the missing features that fans of the franchise keep searching for.

While nothing has been confirmed as of the time of writing, the multiple questions swirling around Warcraft 3: Reforged can’t just be a coincidence. If this new version is released, it will hopefully address all the issues and omissions that have plagued us previously.
