How Locked Labyrinths work in Forspoken!

Forspoken is full of side content for you to explore and items to discover. With the world shattered by The Break, many structures have turned into ruins housing ancient artifacts as well as deadly monsters. As you venture into the unknown, you will discover diversions called locked mazes. These large underground structures are home to some tough challenges but also offer some of the best rewards. This guide will show you everything you need to know about Lost Labyrinths in Forspoken.

How to find and complete locked mazes in Forspoken

All of the side content in Forspoken is called Detours. These are optional areas that you can visit to get additional rewards, crafting materials, and mana. The locked labyrinths are just one of the many different detours you can find throughout the world of Athena. These structures appear as large cages with pools of energy in the center. Once you spot a labyrinth, enter the center of the energy pool and press the interact button to enter it.

Locked Labyrinths are just one of the many ways you can test your fighting abilities in Forspoken. Each maze contains rooms of enemies that you can fight to earn rewards. Think of it as a challenge of enemies that you have to fight through to get to a boss. When the boss is defeated, you will get a reward. After each room of enemies, you will come across an Obelisk like the one in the image above. These allow you to leave the maze at any time.

After defeating all the enemies in a maze, you will enter a room with a boss fight. The boss is usually pretty tough, so be sure to bring plenty of Healing Drafts in case you get hurt. Once you defeat the boss, enter the last room to get some treasure, mana, and learn a little about the world of Athena.
