War Thunder players leak military documents for the sixth time, may now be a national security risk!

War Thunder is one of the most popular simulation game when it comes to vehicular combat. Players want the game’s vehicles to match real-world ones as closely as possible, and have published secret military documents to prove their point. This has happened five times in the past, but now it happened for the sixth time on January 18 in connection with the F-16 Fighter Falcon.

You can capture tanks, planes, and naval ships when fighting against other players. There are a large number of realistic tanks from different eras of combat, from the First World War to the Cold War. Its vehicles and boats are featured in a number of countries in this game, such as the United States.

The attention to detail has not gone unnoticed by gamers, who are looking forward to using their favorite tanks or planes. To ensure that realism is addressed as much as possible, some players search for actual blueprints of specific vehicles and post them online. By publishing these plans, players wanted to tweak certain features or make them more refined.

The problem is that some of these charts are classified documents. It is not intended to be shared online as this would lead to leakage of confidential information. It has come to the point where playing War Thunder is a threat to the national security of the United States.

The exact source of these manuals has not been established, but these cases have put War Thunder on the National Security Watch List. It is not likely that the players who posted these blueprints on the War Thunder forums were doing so to leak security secrets. The dedication to discussing if something is as strong as it says goes a long way, and gamers just wanted that to be reflected in upcoming updates.

With six leaks under their belt, Smin1080p, the community manager for the War Thunder forums, has sent out a stern message. If players cannot conclusively prove that a document is legal to post, they should not post said document on forums at all.

Even with the attention to detail, it’s still possible to wear custom skins or modify your vehicle as you see fit. But War Thunder players should be careful when arguing their points in the future, as further security risks could potentially have serious repercussions.
