Anushka Sharma, who is from Bollywood, will soon appear in a movie on the life of Jhulan Goswami. Chakda Xpress is the name of the movie.

In her post about the film, Anushka wrote, “Chakda Express is based on the life of former Indian captain Golan Goswami and will give you a fresh look at the world of women’s cricket.

When Jalan decided to become a cricketer and make her country proud on the world stage, it was hard for women to even consider taking up the sport. This film is a dramatic re-telling of the many events in her life and in women’s cricket that changed both.

Anushka added, “There wasn’t much that made Indian women want to play cricket as a job, including support systems, facilities, a steady income and even a future in the game. Jalan’s cricket career was challenging and full of uncertainty, but she kept moving forward because she wanted to Make her country proud.

She has tried to change the idea that women cannot play cricket professionally in India so that the next generation of girls will get a better chance.

Her life shows that passion and hard work can get you through anything, and Chakda Express is the best way to get to know the not-so-pink world of women’s cricket at the time. There is still a lot of work to be done and we need to give them the best tools so that women in India can do well in sports.”
