Samurott has arrived in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet for a limited time in the form of Tera Raids. These seven star encounters will put your Pokémon to the test as you take on this daunting challenger alongside other players. You’ll need to spend some time hunting down Samurott before you can start your battle, and some avid Pokémon collectors may be interested in how to unlock a shiny version of this Pokémon. This guide covers everything you need to know about how to find a Samurott and what you need to do to get a shiny one in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.

How to locate Seven Star Raid Dens in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

The process for finding Samurott in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet will be the same as in previous Tera Raids. You will need to locate the Seven Star Raid Dens, which only becomes available to you after you reach the end of the game, and then you defeat all of Paldea’s Gym Leaders. Once these gym leaders are defeated, it’s the final tournament, the Academy Ace Tournament. After this tournament, Professor Jack will call you to talk about the Black Terra Crystals. Now you can participate in five-star and six-star Tera Raids.

You can raise your own Samurott by having the same at your party and having a picnic with these two. In addition to the shiny charm, get the Egg Power Sandwich, and collect the eggs that appear in the picnic basket. You’ll want to keep doing this until you have a shiny Oshawott, Samurott’s starting form, and then you can flatten it to turn it into a Samurott.

The breeding method may take some time, but it’s the only way for a shiny Samurott to appear in your party while playing Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.
