YouTube star MrBeast was convinced he was about to be thrown behind bars, but little did he know it was all a prank pulled off by Airrack.

MrBeast is the most popular creator on YouTube at the moment, surpassing even the likes of PewDiePie, who had long been the platform’s number one.

His videos usually focus on surprising unsuspecting fans with a range of gifts or asking them to perform various types of challenges for him, like flying to France to get him a baguette.

But this time, the tables turned on MrBeast when he was the one caught off guard by an unexpected arrest, supposedly for evading taxes.

The prank was orchestrated by fellow YouTuber Airrack, who even worked with the New York police department to make the whole thing more believable.

The video has already amassed more than two million views in less than 24 hours since it was uploaded. It starts off with MrBeast being pulled over by officers while he was driving around in his luxurious Tesla car.

He was then quickly placed in handcuffs and driven to a local station, looking surprised but also amused by the whole ordeal.

The situation took a turn for the worse when Mr Beast found himself placed in the back of the police cruiser.

The officer, attempting to gather information, asked if anyone had posed a threat to him, however, Mr Beast chose to remain silent, refusing to engage in any conversation whatever.

Afterwards, Mr Beast found himself locked up in a holding cell, deprived of any food or water.

He had to wait anxiously until he was granted permission to make a phone call, which was when Airrack confessed that it had all been an elaborate prank.

‘I thought it was real,’ MrBeast said. ‘And then I was like, this might be a prank. I was like, this is a lot of resources for a prank. When I got in there I was like, okay wait. Maybe this isn’t a prank.’

Viewers are now curious about what plan MrBeast will devise to exact his revenge, which he almost certainly will do.
