Destiny 2: How to Fix It’s In the Cards Not Working Bug!

Destiny 2 doesn’t launch without its fair share of missteps, and Season 21, Season of the Deep is no exception. There were relatively fewer this time around, which is fine, but one thing players (including me) struggled with was a bug claiming bounties from Hawthorne. After completing her Commendations Vendor Challenge you go to the tower and can’t select the acceptance prompt on the It’s In the Cards screen. We will cover how to fix this problem in this guide.

The fix for the It’s In the Cards bug is very simple: you must be in a clan to advance across the screen. Perhaps the problem arises because Hawthorne works as a salesman for the clan and praise. With the addition of Last Wish Raid Deepsight’s vendor responsibilities, everything on its end just got a lot more confusing.

The problem is compounded by a Destiny 2 cross-connectivity issue that disabling all Clan functionality went a long way to addressing. the Bungie Help official Twitter feed confirmation They have disabled Clans across both the game and their websites, which means that even if you were already in a clan while the features were down, the game will treat you as if you aren’t now.

Odds are that when Bungie is able to re-enable the clans, everyone who was in one of them will be able to get past the It’s In the Cards screen again. There’s no telling when that will be, because communication issues in a constantly online game as complex as Destiny 2 are difficult at best, although Bungie usually finds solutions like this that only last a day or two.

We hope the same is true this time around. If not, don’t expect to be claiming your praise rewards for quite some time, but luckily there are plenty of other powerful resources in the game for you to cultivate in the meantime.
