Tears of the Kingdom – How To Complete Apogek Shrine in TotK!
The Apogek Shrine is one of the optional locations in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, where players can complete the “Wings on the Wind” challenge. This is one of the simplest feats in Kingdom’s Tears, as it involves using gravity, zunai wings, and timing to clear large gaps to claim the precious loot at the end of the dungeon.

How to find the Apogek shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Kingdom’s Tears
Apogek Shrine is located southwest of Zora Domain, as shown in the map above. Check out our guide to finding Prince Sidon in the Kingdom’s Tears to learn more about the area. The shrine is located just south of Mount Jabu and can be found under a massive outcropping of black stone, as shown in the image below.
Approach the Apogek Shrine and activate the front door to create the entrance. This will turn it into a quick travel point on the map if you want to rest and come back later. There is no fighting at Apogeek Shrinebut there is a chance of falling to death, so make sure you are in good health before attempting this.
How to complete the first area of the Apogeek Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Kingdom’s Tears
The first room in Apogek Shrine is simple: there is a metal ball on your side of the room and you need to put it in a hole on the other side. The problem is that there is an enormous strait that divides the room in two. Fortunately, the Zonai suites sit nearby, sloping in the center of the room.
To complete this part of the Apocchiek Shrine, Use the Ultrahand to attach the metal ball to the Zonai WingPlace it on the slope of the ramp, and jump on it as it comes down. The Zonai stand will go up to the other side of the room. After that, you can unscrew the metal ball and place it in the hole to open the door to the next area.
How to complete the second area of the Apogeek Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Kingdom’s Tears
The second area of the Apogeek Shrine is a bit more complicated. Like the first room, it has slopes, zunai wings, and a large gap in the center of the room. Unfortunately, the gap is too large to hold the link through gravity alone. Fortunately, there are four Zonai fans in the room, toowhich can help you solve the puzzle and get to the other side.
But first, there is a chest on the left side of the room that holds a bunch of stars. The last step is too big for Link to climb, but you can grab the Zonai Fan, flip it on its back, slam it, and skydive to get to the chest containing a powerful Zonite spear. Check the screenshot above if you are not clear on where to place the fan.
Once you’re ready to continue, grab one of the Zonai Wings in the area and attack the two Zonai Fans in the back. Place the device halfway down the ramp, hit the fans, and you’ll hurtle through the chasm, where you can claim the prize and complete the Apogek Shrine.
