Heinz creates new sauce in honour of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce

Perhaps you’re that rare breed of British based NFL fan, who knew exactly who Travis Kelce was before last week.

But, whether the boyfriends of TikTok want to believe it or not, for many of us, Taylor Swift has put Travis Kelce on the map.

And, while we wait for Tay to release a banger of a tune about their romance (you know it’s coming), Swifties across the pond can celebrate Tra-ylor with Heinz’s latest condiment.

Known for their timely collabs (who remembers hot cross bun mayo?), Heinz has launched limited edition Ketchup and Seemingly Ranch.

The sauce pays tribute to a viral photograph of Taylor tucking into chicken fingers after she went to watch Travis play football against the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

She enjoyed the tasty snack with a side of tomato dip and what appeared to be some ranch dressing.

Then, X fan account, The Eras Tour, shared the pic with the caption: ‘Taylor Swift was eating a piece of chicken with ketchup and seemingly ranch!’

And a new condiment was born.

A spokesman for Heinz said: ‘“In honour of #Traylor, Heinz (Arrowhead Stadium’s supplier of both Ketchup AND Ranch) is creating a ‘Taylor’s Version’ of its iconic Kranch sauce and releasing 100  bottles of Limited-Edition ‘Ketchup and Seemingly Ranch’ sauce,” the spokesperson said.’

Apparently though, just 100 bottles of the sauce will be produced. Why 100? Well apparently Heinz added together Travis’ Kansas City Chiefs’ jersey number, 87, and 13, Taylor’s favourite number.

While Travis might have been a big name in the States, playing in two Super Bowl winning teams, he was relatively unknown in the UK prior to his very public relationship with the songstress.

After rumours of the romance, the pair were seen in public for the first time this weekend, when Taylor turned up at his football game.

Within 24 hours, Travis had gained more than 300,000 social media followers, and his jersey has hit the top five best-selling in all of the NFL. Fans are calling it the ‘Taylor Swift effect’.
